Report a feral animal

Feral-animal.jpg

Feral species are a huge problem across Australia. In Ku-ring-gai the European red fox preys on our native species whilst rabbits are competing for resources and altering our ecosystems.

Your observations are a valuable source of information to limit the impacts that feral species such as rabbit and fox have on our native ecosystems.

You can report your fox or rabbit sightings via www.feralscan.org.au or using the free FeralScan App available to download from AppStore and Google Playstore.

Ku-ring-gai Council collaborate with other Councils and the NSW State Government (including National Parks) to conduct fox and rabbit control across many of our reserves. Your observations, recorded through FeralScan help Council and other land managers across NSW to

better understand the impacts and inform feral animal control activities.
