Community involvement in the Lindfield Village Green Project

Council has worked closely with the Lindfield Community in developing plans for the Village Green.

Below is a summary of community engagement activities we have undertaken since the project began in 2014. This community involvement will continue as the project progresses.

March 2018 to April 2018  Assessment of the amended development application -  public notification and consultation process
February 2018 One on one briefing with local building owners

Activate Lindfield  - Village Green Public Exhibition of 3 Concept Design Options. Aim of process was for public to select its preferred option. Activities included:

  • Community Day: 21 March 2015
  • On-site mobile exhibition space at Tryon Road Lindfield displaying three alternative preliminary designs staffed by project management team
  • Flyers sent 8,032 residents in Lindfield, Roseville and Killara
  • Opt in Workshop
  • Recruited workshop
  • Online engagement portal – nearly 5k visitors

February 2014 “Activate Lindfield Family Fun Day”

Designed to commence the conversation with local residents, shop users and businesses on the new village green planned for Lindfield.
