Green roofs are a great way to improve your home’s insulation. In addition to adding value to your property, increasing the life of your roof and insulating your home, green roofs and walls help reduce storm water run-off by allowing rainwater to slowly soak in instead of immediate running off and down the drain. By slowing the stormwater, a green roof helps to reduce the risk of flooding and erosion in local natural areas.
Ku-ring-gai residents can claim a rebate of up to $1000 towards the cost of installation a green roof. Conditions apply.
