At the council meeting on Tuesday 5 April, Council resolved:
A. That Council advise the Gordon Golf Club of its support for the Gordon Golf Course to remain a golf course until the lease option expires in November 2023.
B. That the Masterplan be deferred and consulted with the community prior to the expiration of the lease for the Gordon Golf Club.
C. That, following the expiration of the lease, the golf course be converted to a Regional Park in accordance with the adopted Masterplan.
D. That a further report on a cost breakup of expenditure and income for the two golf courses, Gordon and Turramurra, be brought to Council with a view of identifying potential savings.

On 10 June 2014 Ku-ring-gai Council previously resolved to master plan for a regional park and recreation space at the Gordon Golf Course. This proposal stemmed from feedback by the community calling for new and improved community facilities, sporting facilities and parkland to meet needs now and into the future.
Council envisaged that “…this area should be multi use, and could incorporate multi age playgrounds, picnic areas, an off leash area, onsite parking and walking and cycling trails linking to Lady Game Drive through the bushland area. A precinct could be set aside for concerts and another for events such as markets and cultural activities. There is also the opportunity to provide playing fields or courts for active recreation, and an indoor leisure centre.”
The Masterplanning process for a regional park will now commence in 2023.
