Synthetic turf field at Norman Griffiths Sportsground, West Pymble

Council is considering converting Norman Griffiths Sportsground into an all-weather sportsfield. The synthetic turf field would be used by soccer and other sports such as cricket and touch football.

The proposed project will also include an underground tank to manage stormwater, new drainage, floodlight upgrades and landscaping.

Council sought feedback about the proposal, submissions closed on 21 September 2020.

A report will be prepared for Council to advise of the response to community consultation.

Below is the concept plan for the proposed synthetic surface at Norman Griffiths Sportsground. Note that once detailed design work is undertaken some changes to this concept may occur.
