About the project
Council is seeking comment from the community about a draft amendment to the adopted Ku-ring-gai Contributions Plan 2010 to change the boundaries of the local centre catchment for Gordon-Killara to reflect the recent rezoning of 21 Lorne Avenue, Killara that has been recommended for gazettal.
The draft amended catchment map is on exhibition from Friday 21 July 2017 to Friday 18 August 2017.
The current adopted Ku-ring-gai Contributions Plan 2010 provides for contributions towards key community infrastructure such as:
- new local parks
- civic spaces
- townscape improvements
- community facilities like libraries and community spaces
- new roads and intersection treatments
The Draft Amendment to Ku-ring-gai Contributions Plan 2010 will, if adopted, have the effect of altering the boundaries of the area of Gordon-Killara in which the Local Centre Catchment applies. The catchment map identifies the areas to which the contribution rates in Part A: Summary Schedules – Summary Contribution Rates apply. Please note the base rates in Ku-ring-gai Contributions Plan 2010 are subject to quarterly inflation.

A hard copy of the exhibition document above is available to view at Customer Services, Level 4, 818 Pacific Highway Gordon.
The draft amended catchment map will amend and replace the current catchment map of the same title in the adopted and in effect Ku-ring-gai Contributions Plan 2010. The application of this Contributions Plan would be altered by the proposed amendment to the Gordon-Killara Catchment Map.
