Council is seeking comment from the community on the Planning Proposal to amend the Ku-ring-gai Local Environmental Plan 2015 to include one new heritage item being the former "Lanosa" stables and forecourt located at 11 Kywong Avenue, Pymble.
A Planning Proposal is the process that Council follows to make changes to the Local Environmental Plan (LEP). The LEP is a legal document that specifies which land uses are permitted and what development can occur. Heritage Items are also protected via their inclusion within an LEP.
This planning proposal will help protect Ku-ring-gai's heritage for future generations to enjoy.
Ku-ring-gai Council has been authorised to exercise the functions of the Greater Sydney Commission under section 59 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act) that are delegated to it by instrument of delegation dated 14 October 2012 in relation to this planning proposal.
From Friday 23 February 2018 to Friday 9 March 2018 the planning proposal and supporting information below will also be available for you to view in hard copy at Customer Services, Level 4, 818 Pacific Highway, Gordon.
