Planning proposal to heritage list Middle Harbour Road heritage conservation area

About the project

Council is seeking comment from the community on the Planning Proposal to amend the Ku-ring-gai Local Environmental Plan 2015 to include an additional heritage conservation area, being the Middle Harbour Road Conservation Area in Lindfield.

A Planning Proposal is the process that Council follows to make changes to the Local Environmental Plan (LEP). The LEP is a legal document that specifies which land uses are permitted and what development can occur.

Being included on the LEP within a heritage conservation area ensures that any change to a heritage property respects and retains the values which are significant, now and in the future. This Planning Proposal will help protect Ku-ring-gai's historic buildings and streetscapes for future generations to enjoy.

From Friday 2 June to Friday 7 July 2017 the Planning Proposal and supporting information below will be available for you to view and a hard copy of the exhibition documents is also available to view at Customer Services, Level 4, 818 Pacific Highway, Gordon and at the Lindfield Library, 265 Pacific Highway, Lindfield.
