On 28 June 2016 in considering a report on the Turramurra Hub Masterplan, Council resolved (in part):
- That all action cease on the reclassification and rezoning of the Turramurra Village Park (1275 Pacific Highway, Turramurra) until after a decision has been made to determine the location of the library and community Centre facilities within the Ray Street precinct.
Public hearing update
A Public Hearing on the reclassification of 5 Ray Street and 12 William Street, Turramurra was held on Monday 25 July 2016 from 5pm at Ku-ring-gai Council Chambers, Level 3, 818 Pacific Highway Gordon and was open to the public.
An Independent Chairperson, Kara Krason, was appointed to conduct the hearing.
