To improve residential apartment building design outcomes in Ku-ring-gai, Council created an impressive publication, Thinking Outside The Box, which was published in 2011. The booklet highlights examples of well-designed local buildings and provides advice on how good design principles can be applied.
Thinking Outside the Box promotes awareness of well-designed buildings in Ku-ring-gai that are responsive to community expectations and landscape character. It also aims to improve the standard of site planning and design by showcasing a range of good local examples in a landscape setting.
