Draft Drone Policy

About the project

Council has adopted a draft Drone (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) Policy for public exhibition between Thursday 15 November and Thursday 13 December 2018.

The purpose of this policy is to use drone technology to take aerial photographs and videos of Council-owned assets, conduct aerial surveys of Council-owned land and take aerial photographs and videos at Council-managed events.
