Planning for Ku-ring-gai's future

About the project

Draft Community Strategic Plan - Our Ku-ring-gai 2038

This is the revised 20 year strategic plan for Ku-ring-gai and reflects the community’s long term objectives and priorities for the area’s future. It has been informed by community consultation and engagement, research into Ku-ring-gai’s changing population, challenges and opportunities as well as local and regional plans.

Draft Resourcing Strategy 2018-2028

The Resourcing Strategy is the link between the long-term Community Strategic Plan and the medium-term Delivery Program.

It details how the strategic aspirations of Ku-ring-gai can be achieved in terms of time, money, people and assets and is designed to be a living document to reflect changing financial and asset information. Initiatives within the Strategy are reviewed annually to ensure relevance in a changing environment and to incorporate community feedback.

The strategy includes:

  • a 10 year Draft Long Term Financial Plan 2018 - 2028, including funding scenarios
  • a 10 year Draft Asset Management Strategy and 2018 – 2028
  • a 10 year Draft Workforce Management Strategy 2018 – 2028

Please note at the Council meeting of 8 May 2018 Council resolved to nominate further community projects for inclusion in these draft plans for exhibition. See document links below  for further information.

Delivery Program 2018-2021 and Operational Plan 2018-2019
