Re-exhibition of draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for subdivision along rear frontage to Larkin Lane of Part 62, 64 & 66 Pacific Highway Roseville

About the project

Council is seeking comment from the community on a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for the subdivision of land along the rear frontage to Larkin Lane of Part 62, 64 & 66 Pacific Highway, Roseville together with the creation of public access provisions by way of a Right of Footway and a Right of Carriageway. A positive covenant for the future maintenance of the public way is also provided for.

The creation of a separate allotment will also allow the incorporation of that portion of land within the larger Memorial Club site while providing for a public access over the land. Following the creation of the separate lot, that land will be available for divestment, a mechanism for which has also been included within the Draft Planning Agreement.

The draft Planning Agreement is associated with DA0134/18.

Previous exhibition

The advertising notification for the earlier exhibition contained an incorrect reference to the street address of the development by omission of the words "Part 62". As such, a re-notification of a re-exhibition is required. This exhibition has been extended to run for seven weeks as it includes the Christmas-New Year period.

Submissions made as part of the earlier exhibition will be reported to Council together with any additional submissions arising from the re-exhibition.

Draft Planning Agreement and Explanatory Note

The draft Planning Agreement is on extended public exhibition from Thursday 12 December 2019 to Thursday 30 January 2020 inclusive.

Please note that the proposed divestment land is shown in the draft Plan of Subdivision within the Planning Agreement document but has also been provided separately below for ease of reference together with the Report to the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 22 October 2019.
