The Ku-ring-gai Art Centre provides an exciting and stimulating program of weekend and after-school classes for creative kids aged 5-12 years! We aim to harness each student's individual creativity by encouraging them to tap into their imagination to create their own unique works of art. Creative writing for young children (Monday) (7+ years)

When: Monday
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Fee: $225 per 9 week term (Including all materials)

Do you love to read, write and use your imagination? Explore the world of storytelling through the use of costumes, arts and crafts and the written word. Improve your visual and written storytelling skills and build your confidence through fun activities. You will discover the pleasure of creative and critical thinking in this unique workshop.

Draw, collage, paint and create for kids (Monday) (5-7 years) - new class! 

When: Monday
Time: 4pm - 5.30pm

The children will draw found objects from nature using different media, learning about line, shape and form. They will use their imagination using rollers and brushes to make backgrounds upon which to draw, collage, print and create!

Guitar for kids (7-11 years)

A beginners introduction to the guitar targeted at kids aged 7 to 11 years. Students will learn good technique, basic chords, lead melody exercises as well as popular songs in a relaxed approach. Great for students who have never played guitar previously. The perfect introduction to learning an instrument for kids under 12 years who want to be the next Jimi Hendrix.

No nuts or nut products please!

Please ensure food brought to the Centre does not contain nuts or nut products.
Does your child have allergies, asthma, other health issues or special needs? We must be notified in advance if the attendee has an Epi-pen or medication. You must also send us an Action Plan prior to attending class. If your child turns up without an Epi Pen or with out of date medication, they cannot attend the class.
