Our libraries offer fantastic events to encourage your kids to learn, explore and grow!

"Meet me at the library" - Belinda Murrell

Bestselling children's author Belinda Murrell grew up in a vet hospital in the heart of the North Shore. Come along to meet Belinda and hear her share the stories behind her hugely successful Lulu Bell, Pippa’s Island and Sun Sword Trilogy series as well as the inspiration behind her award-winning historical novels such The Locket of Dreams, The Lost Sapphire and The Ivory Rose. You can purchase your own autographed copies of Belinda’s books.

Creator Club

Looking for a space to make, play, and be an ‘out of the box’ thinker? Creator Club is for primary school aged children.  

The challenges set for each club will rotate across the four Ku-ring-gai Library locations, so if you feel like bettering your designs, you are welcome to drop in and participate at more than one location.

Missing Chapter Book Club

Be a part of a book club with a difference! Each reader gets a book with a twist - the final pages are sealed off! At Club meetings, there will be trivia and conversation around how club readers would end the story, and then find out the author's take.

Venue: Gordon Library

Time: 4.30pm – 5.30pm

Story Box Library

You can now have a special story time at home!

We're very excited to announce that Library patrons can now access the Story Box Library using their Library card number. Story Box Library is an online library full of videos of Australian authors, comedians, actors, musicians, and illustrators reading Australian stories aloud.

To access the service, simply visit Story Box and log in via the Public Library option. If you have any questions about Story Box Library, please ask one of the friendly librarians next time you visit us.
