We invited artists from across NSW to submit works for the Wildflower Art and Garden Festival’s Sculpture Walk.
The exhibition will be launched at the popular annual Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Art and Garden Festival, which is held in the beautiful bushland setting of the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden on Sunday 25 August. The exhibition will then continue to run until Monday 2 September.
This will be the fifth year of operation for this not for profit outdoor exhibition, that gives local and regional artists an avenue to exhibit works in beautiful bushland surroundings within the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden.
This year a new Junior Sculpture Walk category was also introduced to the competition with children 12 years and under invited to submit their sculptures to be judged separately.
Entries closed 5pm Monday 15 July 2019
Judges highly encourage sculptures that showcase and capture the uniqueness of the Australian landscape, art that brings the flora and fauna of the Wildflower Garden to life.
There is a preference for recycled materials to be used in an innovative way and for the artistic intervention to interact with the environment it has been created for.
Works adhering to the theme will have the best chance of competing for prize money.
