Thomas Carlyle Children's Centre provides quality full day care and occasional care for young children in a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment.
We aim to promote self-esteem and positive attitudes to learning in an atmosphere of emotional and physical security.

What we provide
A stimulating, safe and nurturing environment, seeing play as an essential part of the child's day.
Care and education for children six weeks to 5 years of age.
All our staff are trained or currently studying. We currently have 5 Early Childhood Teachers, 3 Diploma Teachers and 4 Certificate 111 Educators.
Developmentally appropriate, child-centred education programs.
55 care places every day, comprising of 52 long day care places and three occasional care places.
- Joey's room 12 children aged 0-2 years;
- Possum's room 20 children aged 2 - 3 years;
- Kookaburra's room 23 children aged 3 - 5 years.
Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6pm for 51 weeks of the year.
We are closed between Christmas and New Year, as well as on all Public Holidays.
We provide affordable and quality care. Our cost structure has been updated, effective 3 July 2017
- Joey (0 - 2 years) and Possum Rooms (2 - 3 years) $124.00 per day for long day care.
- Kookaburra Room (3 - 5 years) $114.00 per day for long day care.
- Enrolment fees $100.00 per enrolment.
- Waiting list fee $36.00 per application.
- Occasional care $25.00 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 6 hours.
Some families are eligible to receive a fee reduction with the Child Care Benefit. If you have any queries on this benefit contact the Family Assistance Office on 13 6150.

How to enrol
To enrol your child in our care, you first need to download and fill out our waiting list form and email to email@example.com or post to 2c Carlyle Road, East Lindfield 2070.
On the waiting list your child will be prioritised based on when we receive the form, as well as on our centre’s policy and the Department of Family and Community Services provisions.
Once your child’s name has been accepted we will contact you and provide an enrollment form to complete.
