We run a range of fun and interesting seminars and events for seniors throughout the year. An exciting program of seminars, classes and excursions are planned for 2019.

Please note unless otherwise specified, bookings are essential for all our events.

Activities and classes

Qi Gong

Qi Gong aims to develop mental harmony through gentle flowing movements, deep breathing and calm mental focus, in order to achieve relaxation, fitness, balance and increased vitality.

When: Wednesdays 24 July to 25 September, 9.30am to 10.30am

Where: Gordon Library Meeting Room 1 in the Old School Building

Cost: 10 week series - $100

Functional Fitness Lindfield Seniors Centre

This program addresses health and fitness concerns, and is particularly relevant to the less active mature adult. Focus areas include falls prevention, strength and mobility training, balance and coordination.

When: Mondays 22 July to 16 September, 1.45pm - 2.45pm

Where:  Lindfield Seniors Centre, 259 Pacific Highway, Lindfield

Cost: 9 week series - $100

Back to Basics North Turramurra

This program addresses health and fitness concerns, and is particularly relevant to the less active mature adult. Focus areas include falls prevention, strength and mobility training, balance and coordination.

Please note: This class is for those with back issues. You must be sufficiently mobile and physically able to do the exercises on the floor. 

When: Tuesdays 23 July to 17 September, 10am - 11am

Where: Northside Church (formerly Church of Christ) Community Hall, Bobbin Head Road, North Turramurra

Cost: 9 week series - $100

This program addresses health and fitness concerns, and is particularly relevant to the less active mature adult. Focus areas include falls prevention, strength and mobility training, balance and coordination. 

When: Wednesdays 24 July to 18 September, 1.15pm to 2.15pm

Where: Gordon Library Meeting Room 2 - downstairs in the Old School Building

Cost: 9 week series - $100

For all our events, you can pay by booking online, mailing a cheque, or in person at Council by credit card, cash or cheque.
