Knox Christmas Market
Friday 16 November, 4pm – 8pm
The Great Hall, Knox Grammar Pacific Highway Wahroonga
The community is invited to an evening of festive shopping at Knox Grammar School. Christmas puddings, decorations and gourmet food; candles, homewares, cosmetics and soaps; handmade items and cards; clothing, fashion and jewellery.
Food stalls offering gourmet pizza, barbeque, Dutch pancakes and ice cream, plus Christmas carols performed by students.
Eryldene Christmas Fair
Saturday 24 November and Sunday 25 November, 9am to 4pm
17 McIntosh Street, Gordon
Wander the exquisite historic gardens of Eryldene and 50 stallholders showcasing their unique Christmas gifts.
Stalls include stationery; jewellery; antiques; hampers; cakes and puddings; home-made jams, chutneys and poached fruit; silk ware; garden ornaments; linen; vintage textiles; home wares; children’s and women’s clothing; specialty teas; organic body products; luxury soaps and the Eryldene plant and retro stalls.
Wahroonga Village Christmas Fair
Sunday 2 December, 9am to 4pm
Wahroonga Shopping Village and surroundings
200 stalls lining Railway Avenue and through to the car park, offering shoppers a myriad of quality items and gourmet food.
On offer will be the traditional, the homemade, the unusual, beautiful arts and crafts, handbags, handmade shoes, clothing and of course, Christmas cakes, preserves just to name a few.
All the local retailers in the Village join in the spirit of the day with super Christmas specials.
Christmas carols and services
Saturday 24 November from 7.30pm
Seventh Day Adventist Church 183 Fox Valley Road Wahroonga
Celebrate the beauty of Christmas with an orchestra, choir and soloists.
The Joy Has Dawned Christmas concert will feature carols and hymns reflecting the joy of the festive season.
San Carols by Candlelight
Sunday 9 December, 4pm-9.30pm
Sydney Adventist Hospital 185 Fox Valley Road Wahroonga
Featuring performers Kane Alexander and Amanda Harrison as well as Emily Rex, Ardentsound, the Wahroonga Adventist School Choir and Dave Martin & The Carols Band along with kids and family activities, food fair and kids concert.
Bring your picnic rug and enjoy the kids activities, Santa photos and food fair from 4pm followed by the Kids Concert featuring DreamWorks Trolls Show at 7pm.
The San Carols concert will be hosted by Tim Webster.
Carols in the Park
Saturday 8 December 6pm-9pm
Bicentennial Park Lofberg Road West Pymble
A variety of food stall serving from 6pm, with the main entertainment starting at 7pm. MC Stephen O’Doherty will introduce a children’s section with Quiz Worx puppets, the combined children’s choir, The Australian Waratah Girls Choir. Plus soloist Tim Harding singing traditional and modern Christmas carols led by a combined churches choir and accompanied by the Golden Kangaroos concert band. There are also face painting, petting zoo and playground to keep the kids entertained.
Food options include Asian, corn on the cob, gelato/ice cream, coffee and tea. The St Ives Lion's Club will also be cooking up a sausage sizzle. Alternatively, bring your own picnic, low-backed chair and rug to enjoy the evening.
Carols on Clanville
Saturday 15 December 5pm-9pm
Roseville Park, Clanville Road Roseville
From 5pm enjoy face-painting, a kindy farm and camel rides. Children can come dressed up for the nativity play.
Carols commence from 7.45pm until approximately 9pm. Candles and carol books are supplied, just bring a rug and picnic. Santa will be dropping in for a visit!
