We run a range of fun and interesting seminars and events for seniors throughout the year.

An exciting program of seminars, classes and excursions are being planned for 2017.

Seniors Festival 2017

The 2017 Ku-ring-gai Seniors Festival will run throughout March and coincides with NSW Seniors Week.

A promotional booklet was printed for distribution to seniors, libraries and relevant community organisations throughout Ku-ring-gai.

iPad Help for Seniors

Back by popular demand, iPad help for seniors allows older residents of Ku-ring-gai to become familiar with their tablets so they can fully enjoy the benefits they offer.

Qigong (Chi Kung) is a form of exercise incorporating gentle flow movements and breathing techniques. Qigong can assist overall health, healing and improve vitality.

Visit to Brasserie bread factory

Today we are taking another trip to Brasserie Bread in Botany for a ‘Breaducation session’ where you will learn about the techniques of artisan bread making.

Elder Abuse is Not Always What it Seems

This information session will take a closer look at elder abuse, and what it can look like. This seminar will be presented by the Elder Abuse Helpline and Resource Unit staff.
