Around 40 stalls and food trucks will be at the Showground once a month on Friday evenings, starting from this Friday 1 September.
Aussie Night Markets, the company behind the event, say they are aiming to create ‘a moving night market which will operate 5 - 6 nights a week in different locations around Sydney, a family event with food, fun and shopping’.
After a trading break during winter, the Night Markets will make their return to St Ives Showground this Friday evening from 5pm and will trade once a month on the first Friday of the month.
The market will finish around 10pm, with food trucks, market stalls live music and kids activities on offer.
The Council trialled the night markets earlier this year, with crowds averaging 4000 each night.
Free parking is available at the Showground and patrons are reminded to take care when entering and leaving the venue.
