Exploration – an exhibition for artists with a disability

Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking entries for the exhibition, which will be hosted by the Art Centre at Roseville in July.

Entries will be invited until Monday 1 July and could include sketches, paintings, photography and sculptures. There is no charge to enter the exhibition. 

The Exploration exhibition is the first of its kind offered by the Council. Exploration aims to encourage artists with a disability to show their work, tell their story and offer artworks for sale to the public.

Artists will have their work displayed at the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre in Recreation Road Roseville between 11 and 25 July. 

The exhibition will be launched on Thursday 11 July from 1pm by Mayor Jennifer Anderson, who will present all entrants with a certificate of appreciation. There will also be a People’s Choice Award for the most popular artwork.

The exhibition is open to artists of all ages with a disability; to enter visit www.kmc.nsw.gov.au/exploration  Artworks must be delivered to the Art Centre for display by 8 July.
