Council is hosting a vital first aid course for teens and young adults at Gordon Library during the July school holidays.

The one-day course is being held for 12 to 24 year olds. It gives essential advice on how to save someone’s life in a variety of everyday situations.

Participants who successfully pass the course will receive a valuable addition to their resumes in the form of a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in HLTAID003 Provide First Aid.

The course is being held between 9am and 4.30pm on Wednesday 12 July at Gordon Library, 799 Pacific Highway Gordon. It costs $90 per person which includes lunch.

The course will be presented by accredited trainers from Catch Training and is being organised by the Council’s youth services team.
