The free workshop later this month gives valuable advice to businesspeople on marketing themselves with the ‘perfect pitch’.
The workshop will be held on Friday 20 September between 9.30am and 11.30am at the Council’s new Blair Wark Community Centre in Lindfield.
Guest speaker Anne Kenyon is a former TV producer and writer who has since opened her own successful business in the health and wellness industry.
Her background and expertise in community relations has given her a unique insight into the skills required to be a great presenter and networker.
Anne will give attendees practical advice on how small business people can concisely articulate what their business is about when seeking new sales.
Anne says this is particularly important for business people who are technically excellent but may falter when explaining their product to the general public.
She will also provide useful tips on personal presentation and how to network when at business events.
The workshop is free but spaces are limited; book online or call 9424 0757.
The Blair Wark Centre is located at 1 Dunstan Grove Lindfield; parking at the venue is very limited but there is on-street parking in adjacent streets.
