There’s plenty of non-screen based fun for school students during the April school holidays at the popular centre in West Pymble.
The Centre next to Bicentennial Park will host free activities for primary school students and older teens between 12 April and 18 April to celebrate Youth Week.
On Friday 12 April between 5pm and 6.30pm 12 to 18 year olds can discover the fun of aqua Zumba and a high intensity workout with a free class.
A free swimming lesson is on offer on Monday 15 April, specially tailored to 12-18 year olds who lack confidence in the water. The lesson will focus on stroke correction and will take place from 5pm at the Centre.
On Tuesday 16 April between 7pm and 8pm 11-18 year olds can try a taste of yoga with a free Twilight Yoga class. The class will focus on breathing techniques and de-stressing to help students manage exam-related and other life pressures.
Finally on Thursday 18 April between 12 noon and 3pm students aged 6 and up can enjoy water based fun with giant inflatable pool toys. Please note children aged under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Normal pool entry will apply.
