Free talk for local businesses on using LinkedIn

Ku-ring-gai Council is hosting a free info session on 22 June on using LinkedIn to increase sales and drive new business.

It’s the latest event in the Council’s popular program of free events to help local businesses.

Nearly 250 local businesses have attended five sessions already this year, covering topics such as grant funding, recruitment, business administration and commercialising ideas.

The session on Thursday 22 June at Killara Golf Club delves into one of the business world’s most popular social media tools, following on from the success of a talk held last year on using social media for business.

The Connecting with your Customers using LinkedIn session will be hosted by Mark Warncken, who is an acknowledged expert on unlocking the potential of social media in business.

Mark will show local businesspeople how to create an eye-catching LinkedIn profile that positions you as an expert in your field; how to increase your LinkedIn presence and how to use it on a daily basis to generate new leads and business opportunities quickly and easily.
