Ku-ring-gai business owners are invited to hear the success story of local start-up Humanitix at the informal evening session.
The event will be held on Wednesday 27 March between 6pm and 8pm at Kipling’s Garage Bar Turramurra. The cost is $10 per person, which includes canapes and one drink upon arrival.
Hosted by the Better Business Partnership and Ku-ring-gai Council, the session highlights the success of the St Ives business Humanitix, which is disrupting the ticketing space. Humanitix was a finalist in the 2018 Google.org Impact Challenge.
The business focusses on selling tickets to events and venues, while at the same time redirecting 100% of profits from booking fees to projects that address issues affecting the most disadvantaged children in Australia and overseas.
The networking event is also an opportunity for local business people to mingle and find out how the Better Business Partnership and Ku-ring-gai Council can help them become more successful and sustainable.
The Better Business Partnership is a collaborative organisation funded by northern Sydney councils which helps local business people reduce waste and cut their costs by implementing a broad range of processes and practices.
To book into the networking session call 9424 0757. Kipling's Garage Bar is located at 2 Eastern Road Turramurra.
