The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden hosts its annual spring festival on Sunday 26 August, with the Garden now in its 50th year.
The 2018 Festival will feature plant sales, walks and talks, market stalls and live entertainment from 9am to 4pm at the Wildflower Garden, 420 Mona Vale Road St Ives.
The environmentally - themed sculpture walk will be on again with a total of $6000 in cash prizes for winning artworks. Artists and sculptors have been asked to demonstrate the use of natural or recycled materials in their sculptures, which should be sympathetic to the Garden’s bushland environment.
Other highlights of this year’s Festival include wildflower displays, food and drink stalls, a trackless train, pond dip netting, music and dance, children’s craft workshops and an Australian wildlife display.
