Youth Week events for 12 to 24 year olds during April

Events kick off with the St Ives skate competition and wrap up with putt putt golf.

The skate competition is at St Ives Skate Park on the Village Green between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 6 April. Organised by Skate Park Leagues, contestants can choose between BMX bike riding, skating or scooter riding to be in the running to win great prizes.

On Saturday 13 April the ShoreShocked music festival will bring together young people from across the North Shore to St Leonards Park North Sydney between 11am and 5pm.

Headline acts include Japanese Wallpaper, WAAX, Tyne-James Organ, Kota Banks, Erthlings and Sports Bra.

Entry to ShoreShocked is free but tickets are limited – book your tickets for ShoreShocked music festival.

On Wednesday 24 April an excursion to City Golf Gordon for a game of putt putt will be capped off with a BBQ lunch at the AWOL youth centre behind Gordon library. The cost is $15 per person; book here for City Golf Gordon excursion.

Ku-ring-gai’s three youth centres at Gordon, Turramurra and St Ives will be open at various times during the April school holidays, offering movies, games, BBQs supervised by friendly and supportive youth workers.
