New Facilities Levy - Expired 30 June 2015

The New Facilities Levy helps fund work on the North Turramurra Recreation Area (NTRA), providing new sporting facilities and parkland, along with sewerage and stormwater recycling systems. The levy began in 2009 and will run until 2015.

The NTRA is also funded by development contributions, the domestic waste management reserve, and the Golf Course Improvement Levy, which is taken from a portion of the green fees paid by golf course users.

This project is one of the largest Ku-ring-gai Council has undertaken in recent years, at a total cost of $28 million.

When finished, residents and visitors can enjoy golf, picnic areas, walking trails, multi-use sports fields and areas of natural bushland.

Golfers are now able to play 18 holes of golf.
