Under the Canopy

A Centenary History of Ku-ring-gai Council

In celebration of Ku-ring-gai's Centenary in 2006, Council commissioned an official history book titled
Under the Canopy. It takes a detailed and colourful look at every facet of Ku-ring-gai life over the past 100 years.

Authors Pauline Curby and Virginia Macleod have extensively researched the rich history of people, places, nature and events to show how the area has grown and developed as one of Sydney's most desirable places to live.
