Bushwalking

Ku-ring-gai's natural beauty can be enjoyed by all. Explore these walking tracks at your own pace, or take advantage of Council's Guided Walks program. 

Little Digger Track- This track goes from Roseville to Middle Harbour via Moores Creek. It is 1Km and takes approximately 40 minutes.

Two Creeks Track- The Two Creeks Track officially begins at the corner of Slade Ave and Tryon Rd. East Lindfield and ends at ends at Roseville Bridge but several alternatives are possible that include making your walk into a circuit and returning to Lindfield Oval. It is 7.5km and takes 1.5 hours each way.

Darri Track- This track starts at Bedford Ave North Turramurra to the Warrimoo Track, St Ives. It is 3.5km and takes 90 minutes each way.

Bungaroo Track- The track starts and finishes at Founders Way, off Hunter Avenue, St Ives. Return on the same track back to Founders Way when you have finished enjoying the beauty of Middle Harbour Creek. It is 3.6 Kilometres (return) and takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Sheldon Forest Track- The track begins at Warragal Road Pymble, it can also be accessed from Jubilee or Kimbarra Avenues. The walk finishes at Troon Place. It is 1.7 km and takes approximately  50 minutes each way.

STEP Track- The Track begins and ends at the end of Kingsford Avenue, South Turramurra. It is 2km and takes approximately 1 hour for the round trip.

Ku-ring-gai Creek to Tree Fern Gully Creek, St Ives- This track begins either at Kitchener St. St Ives or Lamberts Clearing in Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. It is 3.5km and takes 2.5 hours with rest time.

North Wahroonga: Grosvenor Avenue to Gwydir Avenue- This track begins at Grosvenor Ave North Wahroonga or Gwydir Ave North Turramurra. It is 6.5km and takes 2.5 hours each way.

Browns Field link to Howson Ave & The Comenarra Parkway- Thanks to the Environmental Levy, the walking track between Howson Ave and The Comenarra Parkway, Turramurra, has been repaired and extended to link to Browns Field on Campbell Drive, Wahroonga.

STEP Inc

Local Environmental Conservation group STEP Inc also offers local guided bushwalks.  Visit their website for details.

STEP Inc has produced excellent maps of walking tracks in Lane Cove (one sheet) and Middle Harbour (two sheets) catchments.  The maps are available for $18 each from:
