Water Quality Data
Since the 1990s, a considerable amount of water quality data has been collected. This data has been collated into one document for use in research and/or other projects.
Environmental Baseline Study
The purpose of this study, completed in 2000, was to identify environmentally sensitive zones and issues of environmental significance to assist Council in developing a Residential Strategy. The study provides a comprehensive review of the information available about Ku-ring-gai's natural environment at that time and is supported by a collection of relevant field data.

State of the Environment Reports
The State of the Environment Report (SoE) is designed to:
- inform and educate the community about the condition of their local environment
- inform strategies to improve the environment
- determine what action is needed to continue these improvements or prevent further degradation
The SoE is a requirement under the Local Government Act 1993 and is an essential tool in assessing and promoting the progress of establishing a better environment.
The Regional Report allows NSROC communities, including Ku-ring-gai residents, to have a broader understanding of water, air, biodiversity, waste, noise, heritage and planning issues and serves to enhance coordination between councils.
