Access and Equity Policy


Ku-ring-gai Council aims to achieve greater equity, better access and wider participation for all members of the community.  This policy has been developed through community consultations, analysis of ABS data, consultations with relevant peak ethnic service providers, comparison with other local governments and interdepartmental discussions within Council.

Access Policy and Disability Discrimination Act Action Plan


Ku-ring-gai Council is committed to providing a fully accessible locality by working in partnership with other authorities and the community.  This Access Policy and DDA Action plan seeks to direct Council in the provision of facilities and services that are equitable and dignified to all people.
