Sport and Recreation in Ku-ring-gai
Council manages a large variety of recreation and sporting facilities which can be used by the community including tennis courts at 20 locations, 46 sports fields, 14 community halls and meeting rooms and various parks and reserves. Council's sportsgrounds can be booked for sporting events, community sport and school sport.

Tennis Courts
Council hires out tennis courts in Ku-ring-gai for both casual and permanent use.
St Ives Showground
Council's largest sporting and recreation facility at 53 Ha, the Showground hosts various facilities, clubs and activities.
Parks and Reserves
Various Parks and Reserves are available for hire for weddings and other celebrations.
West Pymble Pool
The West Pymble Pool complex is available for public use, school swimming carnivals, and hosts swimming lessons and squad training.
Active Ku-ring-gai
Launched in 2006, the Active Ku-ring-gai program consists of local activities to get you outdoors, fit and energised. Classes include Pilates, Tai Chi, Fit Box, Tennis, Yoga and more.

Council has a variety of halls and meeting rooms available for hire - perfect for parties, celebrations or community groups.
