Wet Weather Information

Information last updated at 2.40pm on Friday 6 November 2009

All facilities are OPEN for Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2009

In the event of wet weather, Council recommends contacting your school, club or association to confirm if games or practises are to be called off.  All hirers are responsible for assessing ground conditions and deciding if grounds are suitable for play. The allocated schools, clubs or associations should be the first point of contact for information on training, the play of games or changes to schedules.

All clubs/associations and schools are encouraged to adhere to the assessment and recommendations provided by Council. As reported, many of the sportsgrounds still have slippery surfaces so duty of care and caution needs to be exercised over the weekend.

Please note: the status of fields will NOT be updated unless there is a change to the information available to Council on the condition of sport grounds.

All hirers of Council facilities are subject to the conditions of Ku-ring-gai Council's Wet Weather Policy. Please click on the link to view the policy in detail.  Link: Ku-ring-gai Council's Wet Weather Policy
