November is the Library Fines Amnesty month. If you have any overdue items please return them now without any penalties (as long as they are in good condition). Overdue fines commence December 1, 2009.
- A charge of 20 cents/item/day will apply, up to a maximum of $12 per item.
- A customer may neither borrow nor reserve items while there are fines owing.
- No overdue fines apply if a customer pays for a lost or damaged item.
- Fines are calculated from the close of business.
About the Library
Ku-ring-gai Library consists of four branches. The central library is located at Gordon with other branches at Turramurra, St Ives and Lindfield. View contact details and opening hours.
The library has an extensive collection of books, talking books (in CD and cassette formats), videos, DVD, music and magazines.
Membership is free. Please bring some form of identification with your name and address printed on it (bank statement, rates notice, or bill of some kind is fine). If you live outside of the area please also bring your local library membership card.
Remote Access
The library now offers members remote access to a number of new encyclopaedias from home! Make sure you have your library card and PIN number ready. Search Catalogue or renew your loans.

Ku-ring-gai featured in NSW State Library exhibition
Ku-ring-gai's heritage is being featured on the State Library of New South Wales website. The featured article called "People Places - Looking North" depicts the historical treasures of our area. Images on the site change daily.
